Fall Opportunities at ABC for Health, Inc. Publications assistant will be helping ABC staff design, edit, and update publications during the 2010-11 school year. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Publisher are required, as is a keen eye for spelling and grammar. Writing experience and proficiency with Adobe software is desired. Public Relations Assistant will be assisting the staff of ABC for Health in designing and sending promotional materials, contacting different organizations and engaging in various outreach activities. A working knowledge of Microsoft word and other programs, good attention to detail (including spelling and grammar), and strong interpersonal skills are all preferred. A Web/Media Intern will be helping our Administrative Director and other staff to film Webcasts, upload them into Mediasite, and to help update our website. A working knowledge of the Adobe suite, including Dreamweaver are desired. Experience with Mediasite is also preferred, though not necessary. A Financial Assistant will be working alongside the Administrative Director and existing Financial Assistant to help keep our books up to date and assist in making sure staff get paid on time. Experience with Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks are required, experience with Microsoft Word a plus. Legal interns will provide legal research and writing support for three attorneys and one health benefit counselor. Job duties include interviewing clients at intake, client counseling, and investigation of health benefits denials. Legal research and writing experience are desired.
