Thanks to everyone who attended the 3rd annual HealthWatch Wisconsin Conference!

We are pleased to report that the 3rd annual HealthWatch Wisconsin Conference was a success. We would like to extend our thanks to everyone who attended and participated, and especially to the speakers who came to share their knowledge with HealthWatch members from across the state.

Congratulations again to all of the winners of the 2009 HealthWatch Wisconsin Awards: Kris Peterka, Outreach Effort of the Year; Julie Baryluk, Advocate of the Year; Shamane Mills, Media Effort of the Year; and Representative Donna Seidel and Senator Mark Miller, Legislators of the Year.

As a member of HealthWatch Wisconsin, you are now eligible to receive the HealthWatch Wisconsin Update, our bi-weekly email update that highlights the latest news, trends, and case tips related to health care coverage and financing. You will be kept current with links to the new HealthWatch Watch Dog, a bi-weekly talk show that spots policy issues and trends relevant to the public health workforce.

HealthWatch Wisconsin members can also participate in selected web-based, health care advocacy training programs designed to help families connect to health care coverage and services.
