ABC for Health Current Projects

Currently, we are involved in three different projects. These do not represent the only areas that ABC for Health works in, as services such as legal services are not included here. 	Covering Kids with Special Needs Project (CKSN) Children with special health needs face significant barriers to obtaining and retaining health care coverage. The project builds upon the network infrastructure and lessons learned from the past Covering Kids Wisconsin and Families MAP projects to improve access to health care coverage programs for children with special health needs and also help families navigate this often confusing system. The project offers parents and providers information, trainings, and the opportunity to participate in local, regional, and statewide policy discussion forums.
	HealthWatch Over the past several years, the HealthWatch Committees across Wisconsin have played a vital role advocating for Medicaid recipients. These community-based groups monitor policy and advocate for changes that improve advocacy services, access to care, and quality of care.
