We have created this part of our site as a clearinghouse for health care advocacy resources, training updates, education materials, and news. These pages contain the information you need to be an effective and efficient advocate in your community. We hope you’ll find them useful, and we hope that you will contribute your ideas and insights to our collective efforts by joining the Wisconsin Health Care Access Network. This exciting new project will help you develop connections with other advocates in your area and around the state as we work for systems-level change.

Education and Training
We offer comprehensive training sessions for groups large and small on the ins and outs of health care financing and health benefits counseling. And to help you when you encounter a problem, our staff offers in-depth consultation and technical assistance to those interested in developing their health care financing knowledge and their benefits counseling skills.

Information Resources
To help you as you help your clients, our site features factsheets on health care financing programs, problems, and solutions, as well as helpful hints and advocacy tips. You can browse the site our use our search engine.

If you work with families on a regular basis or work with people who do, you may be interested in our AdvoKit for Health Care Access. The AdvoKit is a tool designed to help you in your work with families. To go with the Advokit, We’ve also designed a family-friendly kit called 3 Steps to Family Health Coverage. This kit answers all the basic questions that families might have about health care coverage.

All of our publications, including the acclaimed Weekly Update, our Covering Kids Wisconsin newsletter the Kids Coverage Monitor, and our parent-friendly MAP Report, are archived on the site in web and print friendly formats.
